PGNM members take part in public engagement actions that bring scientific knowledge outside the laboratory and into schools, hospitals, public venues and city-wide science events.
Public actions
- Telethon and AFM-Telethon actions: fundraising, research project videos and meetings with donors and supporters.
- Declics: meetings between scientists and students designed to open research careers and scientific questions to younger audiences.
- 1000 chercheurs dans les ecoles: school-based actions around biomedical research and rare diseases.
- La Fete de la Science: public science events, games, workshops and discussions.
- La Nuit des chercheurs: public encounters with researchers and research questions.
- Science taille XX Elles: photographic exhibition highlighting women scientists.
- Open University conferences: accessible public lectures connected to biology and biomedical research.
- Les Cellules Deambulent / The Stroll Cells: arts and science performances around cells and cell culture.
