On this occasion, science journalist and producer Natacha Triou interviewed three members of the autophagy research community: Audrey Esclatine, current president of the Club Francophone de l’Autophagie (CFATG), professor at Paris-Saclay University and researcher at I2BC; Pierre-Emmanuel Joubert, member of the organizing committee of the CFATGXIII congress in Paris and lecturer at Sorbonne University; and Flavie Strappazzon, also a member of the CFATG board and researcher at the Institut NeuroMyogène in Lyon.

Throughout the discussion, the speakers revisit the fundamental mechanisms of autophagy and its role in physiology, particularly in development and aging. They also explore its involvement in various pathologies, including cancer and neurodegenerative diseases.
