Abstract
Over evolutionary timescales, species have evolved cell-autonomous circadian clocks to coordinate and adapt their intrinsic physiological state to rhythms in the external environment. The seminar presents recent work on how chromatin architecture established by histone variants and associated chromatin remodelers is critical to oscillator establishment.
