About
My name is Jianbo, and I come from China. I am currently a PhD candidate in the team, where I study the molecular mechanisms underlying the function of the CHD2 protein under both basal and stress conditions. My research aims to understand how CHD2 contributes to neuronal homeostasis and how its dysregulation may play a role in the pathophysiology of neurodegenerative diseases such as spinal muscular atrophy (SMA) and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS).
Outside the laboratory, I enjoy running and hiking in the mountains, activities that help me stay balanced and find inspiration in nature
