About
I have always been curious about how life works, a curiosity that has guided both my scientific path and my way of living. I am naturally energetic and full of ideas, and over time I have learned how to channel this energy into meaningful projects.
As a group leader, I feel a strong sense of responsibility toward my team. My priority is to ensure that everyone feels well, supported, and valued, both as scientists and as individuals.
Beyond research, I love helping people — whether they are close friends or new acquaintances. Sometimes this means bringing joy and comfort through my long-time passion for raising kittens, which I have pursued for over 15 years, and other times by offering advice, often rooted in my scientific knowledge.
What inspires me the most is Nature: I have always been fascinated by life in all its forms. I am passionate about the sea and sports connected to it, and I also dedicate much time to writing — not only scientific articles and grants, but also personal reflections. Meeting people and sharing ideas is another source of joy and inspiration for me.
For me, life and science are inseparable journeys of curiosity, care, and connection, guiding everything I do.
